Interesting! I can imagine that all the criticism which Qatar is facing negatively impacts the number of tourists. Some might not travel to Qatar as a form of protest against the bad working conditions of construction workers. I have the feeling that Germans (the Worlds favourite tourists..?) consider fair working conditions in hosting countries as important nowadays while they cared less about it in the past. Perhaps Qatar overestimates the potential benefits through tourism... Greetings from Germany! Jan
